EcoCorner tip of the month: Reduce emissions and increase your savings!

How can you save money and reduce your impact on the environment? We’ve got two great options for you!

Carpooling - You can help the planet and save some cash by carpooling. Carpooling with even just one other person instead of driving solo saves over 8,000 pounds of CO2 every year. By carpooling you will not only reduce your commuting cost, you will also reduce traffic congestion and air pollution. You can even take turns driving and use that extra time to read a book, chat or even take a nap before getting to your destination!

Public transportation - If you use public transportation in your city, you are already doing your part to cut carbon emissions. One full city bus means approximately 40 fewer cars on the road. Also, certain buses run on clean energy and that means even less pollution.
If you are using a car but have an option to switch to public transportation, you can give it a try and discover how much faster and cheaper it is to travel this way.

These are great ways to help our planet, and to help your pocket!
